RadioRadio workshop, November 20 & 21, 2007
Media artist, Steve Bradley, from the Baltimore collective URBANtells, presented RadioRadio, an interactive radio broadcasting workshop for teens. This three-hour workshop introduced youthful participants to aspects of early radio, the mechanics of radio technology, as well as contemporary trends in the media that included net.broadcast. RadioRadio participants created their own material for a live radio that broadcast at the last hour of the workshop on Gregory Green's pirate station 87.7 FM broadcast up to 30 mile radios over Baltimore City, part of the Broadcast exhibiton. This workshop was open to middle-school and high school students. Thanks to Joel Bower for his assistance with the workshop.
